You saw Macross, Top Gun, or even old WW2 combat footage, and thought to yourself that it'd be VERY cool if you could fly like they did in Macross, blow stuff out of the sky like they did in Top Gun, or flown through harrowing missions and surviving by the skin of your teeth like they did time and time again in World War 2.
Well, guess what. I thought so too, and no matter WHAT game I played (especially space games), I could never get that movie-actor thrill. Everything was too slow, and you had lasers that could blow opponants out of the sky, without worrying about ammo conservation. There was no tension, everything was easy to destroy.
So I decided to create the Nova series, an attempt to cross sicence fiction and real life into one action-packed gaming experience.

Well that sucks was kinda lookin forward to it.
Check out the pictures gallery, I uploaded a new beta shot. Of course, no textures, etc, BUT, I now have the new Cobra AND the new Chinese fighter in-game and functional! :)

Crap...sorry guys. Gotta wait until next Friday or so. I'll be settled in enough to release a build.
It will consist of:
Alpha Effects (very few).
Beta Tables.
Alpha Missions.
Beta Sounds.
That's it, folks. It's gameplay only, no fancy eye candy, sorry. As soon as I can, though, I'll begin to import my models into the game. Only thing that's holding me back are textures, which I can't do. Any help here would be appreciated. If I can get ONE hard-working texturer, you can have about 3 or 4 new models to play with in-game next Friday.
I have recieved all of the files I need to work on the mod away from home. Hopefully, I shall have enough stuff to make a release by the end of next week or so :)
To all those who may be concenered:
I'm probably going to scrap all the models (with the exception of the Beagle), and either re-do or replace them, with a more distinctive style and better modeling.
Oh, and the mod isn't dead, just in case anyone cared :D
Wish you had told me sooner. I'm away from my home comp for the next month or so, but I will try to release it when I get back :)

Haven't been checking this mod for a while, so I could not comment the actual comment directly.
So, I would be interested in an Alpha release.

I FINALLY got another tabler (and maybe another one, too! :)) so work will hopefully be progressing MUCH faster.
