JPOG:The Original One is meant to be like a remake of the mod Forgotten, with similiar concepts, making Jpog what maybe looked like if there was more time to do this game.
The models are upgraded with blender thanks to the new tools, not only for new dinos, a good part of the original dinos are also edited, to be sometimes more jp like, other times more realisitc or more personal. Dinos are also more properly resized, they will be most times a bit larger than in real, to not make it too much realistic. There will be two versions, one with skins vanilla styled(so far it will only be for dinos also present in Forgotten) to be more near on how they could have been originaly and another version using the textures from forgotten the lost files or/and with them as a base for new ones, with some other edits. All dinosaurs in this version will have a skin
Original traks are edited to feel something more unique, and a one originally scrapped is also there, some new sounds are from jp movies and some other games.
Dinosaur stats are edited to be more realistically like, with now proper health, damage, speed, stars, etc.
Edited and custom animations are planned for this mod, and they will be most likely a reality.
Other than the dinosaurs from Forgotten, there will be plenty of others that you can use replacing existing others, example you can make Oxalaia replace Spinosaurus, Argentinosaurus replacing Mamenchisaurus etc.

Recently a few changes were made on the dinosaur list, and because of certain limitations We had to remove some dinosaurs, those will likely return as replacements for certain dinosaurs similiar to them in the future after the mod is released with addons. Those are for now:
Sellosaurus, Anatotitan, Altirhinus, Seismosaurus, Tuojiangosaurus, Zhuchengtyrannus, Astrodon, Lusotitan, Brontosaurus, Mapusaurus, Citipati, Hypsilophodon, Saurophaganax, Scolosaurus, Saurolophus.
Furtunately there are in return, 3 new dinosaurs joined JPOG: The Original One, they are:
Majungasaurus
Latenivenatrix
Troodon(skin is a placeholder)
Release date is still TBD, can't do any estimates for now

You shouldn't stop developing this mod, it is practically the true successor to "The Forgotten".
If you need help creating content, you can definitely find other modders to help you. Of course it's a lot of work, but I still dream of a beta version at the very least.

Tecnically the development stopped from already quite a bit unforunately. Tought I think a new release will arrive at some point, but not 100% sure. I'm sorry for being this late with this answer
