Nazi Zombies Remastered v1.0 (All-in-one)
Full Version 1 commentInitial v1.0 release. Mod has been constantly updated over the past few years but consider this is the first "official" release. Follow the project's...
A "remastered patch" for the Call of Duty: World at War default four zombie maps: Nacht Der Untoten, Verrückt, Shi No Numa, and Der Riese. The aim of this project is to be a more polished "alternate" vanilla with each map feeling more consistent with bug fixes, quality-of-life tweaks, new features, and re-added cut content. To read a longer description of changes, see the GitHub page linked as the "Homepage" on the far right. This mod was originally created to improve issues with the game such as the Wunderwaffe-Jug glitch, "sticky" zombies, weird meleeing, etc.

The Hardcore gameplay from COD4 Frontlines arrives into WWII. With PezBots support and the same realism feel that you love.
the Arisaka is broken
no weapons are broken, I responded to this on plutonium forum. Make sure you have installed correctly
Does this mod also buff the bolt-action rifles (especially the Springfield) so they aren't absurdly weak?
Sort of, a more complete (but still not fully done) list of changes is on the github, you can google it same name as this mod page. The Springfield is still a little worse than the Kar, being that on Verruckt the Garand is in the same room which is better than the Gewehre so it balances out. However, the Kar98k/Arisaka are still the same as their balance is intentional, they are the cheapest weapon you can buy. The scoped versions do pack more of a punch, and each map now has a different variant--so you can actually get the scoped mosin for example.
Okay. Personally I think the headshot multiplier for them as well as the Springfield's damage should be buffed (along with a slight damage nerf to the M1 carbine since that thing is waaay more powerful than it should be), just to give people more of a reason to use them. They're already balanced out a ton by being bolt-action anyway, plus the Springfield's damage being half that of the Kar98k is just absurd.
Maybe I'm just disappointed that the bolt-action rifles aren't as fun to use in Nazi Zombies as they are in the campaign.
Check out the changelog it has a weapons section. The Carbine has already been slightly dmg nerfed and then mobility buffed because it's lightweight. M1 Garand is also buffed to be decently stronger than the carbine now. The springfield does not have half the damage as the kar in this mod, they are close to being equal. But it doesn't make a lot of sense to make bolt actions good for the flow of the game, they are starting room low cost weapons
Good point, plus the PAP versions have great headshot multipliers/headshot damage anyway. (At least in vanilla, IDK if the mod changed them).
EDIT: Hopefully the Gewehr 43 was buffed a bit too. Also, after playing the mod, the Springfield is definitely a lot more fun to use now, even with the misaligned sights.
