How do you stop crashing before battles? It keeps saying something or another is missing or isn't found
Hallo, paddyrat - yes, what I did was patiently correct everything the game asked for. A lot of these were in the mappus mundus (including upgrading every village to a town by adding a governor's house to the text for each one). I got it going at last and it is good fun.
But the Save Game button is permanently greyed out, can anyone advise on a way ton enable it?

Just to say that I found the answer on another Total War forum page - you have to create a save-game file in C:Users/yourname/AppData/Roaming/The Creative Assembly/Rome Total War/napoleonic/save_game - this ungreys the Save Game and Load Game options!
this mod has an old age so just dont play it
