The mod basically adds some more realism to the carnage. Shotguns won't explode enemies anymore, explosions are more likely to rip off body parts instead of gibbing. Limits for mutilation to occur have been disabled. Usually the game wants a certain amount of "normal" deaths until another limb is allowed to fly again. It also pushes low-health indicators like heavy breathing a bit up so they occur at higher health threshold. I did this mainly because the medpack supply in FEAR mostly keeps you above the thresholds and later in the game you wouldn't hear them very rarely since it's either heal or death. The batteries for the flashlight have also been exchanged for, well, normal batteries.. Keep the light on. Choose between three versions of the mod. All three come with the changes mentioned above, Mutilation Plus and Payneful add gameplay changes like being able to carry more weapons and throwables and more health/slomo increase.

hey so how do i get this to work with extraction point? i have mutilation plus with the rivarez file installed but its just not working, is there something i'm missing and/or doing wrong?

Edit: Okay so it doesn't seem to work with XP? Is this whats supposed to be up or am I just dumb

Hey, I think you need to edit your mod with Rivarez mod further.

On Rivarez Mod, there are 2 folders (Full Version and without weapon changes. Therefore,

1. Would you please edit 2 folders for Rivarez mod (no weapon changes and full version) and adds the following:

- Details of models increased in distance
- Bodies won't despawn, including chopped bits
- Blood on bodies, walls etc. stays forever
- Bullet holes, nails, shell casings, broken glass, wood debris and turret debris stays forever

No mutilation please just the above additional to Rivarez mod.

Those features were the reason I merged with Rivarez mod actually. They are already implemented.

I cant figure out if this Mod changed the breathing to <90Hp ? its very annoying.

It does.
I like it better because you'll have a lot more health later and won't hear the breathing at all if you heal as soon as you get the most from your health packs.

Please make a version of the mod without gameplay changes to medical packs and health, leaving only visual changes, such as disabled exploding bodies from shotguns and grenades and disabling the limit on dismembrement of body parts, etc.

This mod does not make blood and debris stay longer, but you can use the Rivarez mod along with Mutilation as long as you don't use its weapon changes. I included instructions how to make the game load both mods in the ReadMe file.
Personally I couldn't live with vanishing blood decals... :D

It's great that your mod is compatible with the basic version of Rivarez mod, but my favorite feature from the full Rivarez mod is the ability to carry all guns at the same time and being able to assign keys for them, just like in an oldschool shooter. Could you maybe add this feaure to your mod as well? That would make it perfect!

One of the versions I included enables you to carry 5 weapons at least. That should cover the most critical ones for you.
I actually only play with loadout set to vanilla and enjoy the fact that I can't carry an arsenal. But yeah, when I am at it again I can add an option for even more weapons. :)
