Welcome to the city of Belück. A quiet town isolated high up in the mountains. You are a young factory worker visiting the town for the first time. Your sister lives here and you look forward to meeting her. As you arrive to the town, the Police stops you. They wont let you get further into the city and they wont tell you why. A friendly policeman points you toward the closest motel and informs you that in the morning the traffic will flow as normal again. You however, have a cold feeling something is not right.

More Hunger is a fan prequel to They Hunger using the same textures as the original mod and [_-=MTB=-_]'s "N'sane" Pack (the simple version) for the weapons and animations. So far only the demo is released.

NOTICE!!!!

The Demo will not work for the 25 anniversary edition of Half Life, you need to revert it back to the Steam Legacy version if you want to play. (Will work for full release!)

I am currently in need of help with modeling and texturing, i can be reached on discord joje#4104.

The demo is very good ! Need some works, we can be blocked in some objets but thanks to the noclip command, it's easy to continue. The use of MTB's reanimations pack is a good idea, i love these reanimations. Hype for more infos =)

Quite weird for a guy in the 1930's (I assume, due to the cars)) to be wearing what seens to be tactical gloves and the cops having helmets, which was somewhat excusable in the original for it being in the 60's. Other than that, you're cooking.

This demo is a great proof of concept and I hope to see more int he future. One of my biggest complaints with the original They Hunger was there was a serious lack of gameplay within the town of Rockwell itself and its focus on the asylum as Rockwell had immense potential for claustrophobic zombie action galore. Cool to see that you have realized this potential and I love the period accurate weapons and aspects such as posters for local brands of the time. Hope development continues and I cant wait to see where this project goes from here!

Good work, although at times the geometry is too simple, also the streets are empty and too big... the They Hunger style was used well.

A lot of models and apparently brushes are completely invisible from mh3 level (right after getting the m1911, going down the ladder and exiting into the big streets.

Also the intro ride is veeeeeery slow, could be sped up 3x and dialogue would still end up on time.

Otherwise it's a breath of fresh air and interesting mod, I really like the slow pace and the details.

If you are using the 25th anniversary of half life, you get the invisible brushes problem. You have to revert it back to the Steam Legacy version.

And yeah the opening cutscene is ***.

Nice, I don't use Xash3D myself but it seems to work fine, there's a bunch of soundfxs missing though but eh.
