You have been summoned by small creatures called Tinies to save them and their castle from an evil wizard. This wizard transformed almost all of them into stone statues by magic. You have to help the little creatures by becoming balls of different properties.
*Single player action/puzzle game with console game like experience and non linear gameflow.
* Three different game modes.
* UT2K4 total conversion, with all new themed visuals and sound.
* Uses Karma Physics for gameplay and interactive level elements.

Good bye... for now.
I failed to recruit a dedicated team, and I can't continue developing the game alone. I had to realize that I can only expect proficient and reliable work if I pay for it. Looking back now, I feel quite naive...
Still, several people offered help, so a big thanks is in order to them. Special thanks goes to SolidSnake, whos help was invaluable, and to Bojana for her support and inspiring artwork.
So now I stop working on MetaBall 2 before I slip deeper into the pit of irrational escalation of commitment. Maybe in the next few years I can save some money for this hobby, and can pay freelancers to help me finish MetaBall 2.
I feel bad about disappointing the fans, so I prepared a bunch of pictures as a "farewell present". Obviously they are not the same as a playable mod, but I hope you like them anyway. :)

I have played this mod and in my opinion it's a little difficult for the average player. Most of the challanges set take a lot of time to finish properly. Other than that the mod is wonderful, the enviroments are lovely and the game idea is great. I loved rolling around, it's very good. I also like how the game is made up of the levels, which are found as warps on the Main Map, also the Main Map looks lovely.
This is one of the best and fun single player mods for UnrealTournament 2004.
It's so damn proffesional looking that it's scary.
As for variation, this game has it in spade full's. It contains everything from puzzles, jump and run aspects to races. Musically, I love this mod too and am yet to find a mod with a better overall soundtrack. New school compositions which don't grate even after the 20th time of trying the same map.
If you're looking to be entertained in a completely different way to UT 2004 for free, and on the same engine, look no further. This mod is fun for just a couple of rounds or even an hour stint of trying for every sun icon. You can go to this mod if you want to use those little grey cells between your ears, or for when you want to practice those reflexes of yours...
Overall, this is probably my favourite mod ever (on any engine), when looked at as a complete package.
