The goal of this mod is to give the player the possibility to build up a trade empire, with buildable manufactures in the city's, buyable land in the villages, your own caravans and so on. Cause you need consumers, a population system has been implemented, with 3 classes of people (Worker, Merchant and Rich), with different demands. Every city and village produces it's own goods, based on location and culture. The political system has been changed, npcs now have a character that influences theyr behavior. They try to kill each other not only on battlefields. There are also changes to the campaign and battlefield AI, completly new troops, hundreds of new items, scenes and much more.

This is a pretty good mod, I like the idea of it. However the market screen is a bit overwhelming. So if that could be made a bit more simple like have the same options but switch them to the vanilla screen because it's so much easier to use and is much more user friendly. Now I could see something like that for the livestock, however you could add someone in the city council to talk to and you could sell or buy the livestock there, and have it where the guy may say what you have and the quantity of them. I feel that would be better because I have spent 10 minutes trying to figure out the new system you have implemented but I still can't figure it out completely. Also is there a way to send caravans and merchant ships? I haven't found one as of yet. Also you should add a person in your personal council (or just have the minister do it) so you can send letters to other kingdoms because playing as the king of the Nords I haven't found a way to declare war. And for this mod I think it would be cool if you had an option in the starting screen so you could start a small trade republic and start with one caravan which you can send anywhere with a few goods (not expensive goods, just cheap things) and there should be new kinds of mercenaries so you can build up an army of mercenaries and sell your swords to someone. Like for example if the Swadians and the Nords went to war then you would receive a letter from both stating they want you to fight for them and stating how much they will pay you, and maybe they don't have denars to offer so they will offer things like, goods, or a highborn lady to marry. Something like that. Pretty good mod over all though. Not crazy about the name changes, but those I can live with. Thanks for hearing my ideas and thoughts!

Hi,

well the trade system can not be switched back to the vanilla system, it has a completly new foundation :-/ My problem with the old trading system is the lack of granularity and if you want to sell bigger amounts it's a lot of drag and drop. I also tried to redo the trading screen of patrizian 2:

I really need to add more information in the presentations, about what they do and what the numbers mean. Hope this helps then to make them more userfriendly.

The dialog way you suggest is implemented for cows and sheep and other animals in town, just for immersion. I think it's realy complicated to buy bigger amounts of different goods with it.

There is a way to send caravans, but only for a limited amount of goods (not updated to the new goods implemented in 0.5), you can find it in the Kontor/Barn menu under "Setup a Caravan". A short descrption can be found here.

About your diplomacy problem, there should be an option at the chancellor to declare war.

Starting as a trade republik is one think i'm looking at, but what will stop the others from simply taking over your town :-/ But working as a mercenery-group for a king is something i want to implement in the future, also hiring such groups. For example the religous armys shall be hireable in the future and are a part of that idea.
