Spinblades can be placed anywhere on the battlefield with a special support power, as long as it is not water or there are no obstacles in the way. These towers will give a large boost to the speed of certain units, including Sweepers, Jackals Racers and Clairvoyants.
All units which can be affected by the Spinblade have a short blue line following them which gets longer if the unit is boosted. The blue arrow is different from the standard speed buff/nerf indicator, as it has a white outline.

Agreeing on the other part the heavy infantry looks visually similar to the Rail-gun Commando from Twisted Insurrection, so I suppose they'll have a similar role (not I hero unit I mean).

Why jackals don't have shadow? Unfinished or on purpose?
Can't have shadow the way it is.
How come? Don't amphibious transports have them?
The body is a turret and turrets can't cast shadows.

I noticed this problem as well when I added some new jumpjet vehicles with their bodies as turrets and empty bodies plus OmniFire=no on Weapons and VehicleTypes to SRA2
AlexB doesn't 'need' to do anything. ;)
Speeder, just say they give off light underneath, so they wont have shadows ;)
