Don't you wish you had more weapon choices, like firing Advanced Tactical Missiles (ATMs) or the Arrow IV rocket artillery system? Woudn't you like Capacitor-Enhanced Particle Projector Cannons (PPCs)? Or perhaps your inclinations are for small arms such as Machineguns, Small Lasers and the long-ranged AC/2? Well, now you can do all that and much more! With canon-based weapons and designs, this mod overhauls 'mechs and vehicles with left-out weapons from the original Battletech universe, and differentiates sizes such as LRM-5, LRM-10, LRM-15 & LRM-20 (similarly for SRM, ST/SRM, ATM, MRM, etc)... Your opponents won't know what hit them! (perhaps quite literally) But don't get cocky... your opponents use many of these new weapons, too! Mech and vehicles have been balanced improved with canon-based loadouts and variants. With features enhanced, quality for menues like different scheme colors for IS and Clan diagrams, and other such goodies + the gameplay changes,A NEW BATTLEFIELD AWAITS

Description

You will find better information on the readme. Install: Put your DATA folder over a MechCommander Darkest Hours 4.2 working portable install (standalone free and legal mechcommander mod by rizzen) Fresh installs are better. If you had the Vault Lostech Alpha 0.1 there before this may not work. It may, but I cannot guarantee it. Over a fresh install it will surely work. Overwrite everything, you should be prompted after puting the DATA folder there. Changes for this version: (Cosmetic) - Larger menues for the first recorded time in 22 years of mechcommander. Patented method. - New and completely cool (or hot...) menu image - Started putting Clan weapon schematics "backward" so they are more identifiable at a glance in the buy list. (bugfixes) - The weapons in the list will now display properly, not some mixed at the end - Many weapons were fixed (Balance) - Weapon values tweaked (Gameplay general) - Strategic map is always revealed now + 30 new weapons and new Mech loadouts!

This looks beautiful. May you allow me to publish articles for that content / using it for modding?

Yes, I would like to see some articles, the lack of ability to make screenshots has limited my ability to showcase for now for example.

And you can uise it for modding and even integrate in your mod as fr as I am concerned if only you give credit. I used the tools you compiled and published so its only fair.

The revealed terrain is a small issue to campaign builders. I experienced that many origin and customer map creators used different maps than displayed in briefing screen in order to hide things or emulate changes on the battlefield when you are dropped. Those "surprise" effects and many eastereggs would be easy to find then in Darkest Hours for example.

I think you are right about the tactical map. I have tested what you said in 3rd op of Second War of Refusal and the initial map shows bridges OK. While in the operation itself by looking at the tactical map you can tell one bridge has been destroyed. I will probably disable the change for V03.
