Master Sword, a first-person MPORPG mod for Half-Life, was first created in 1998 by Dogg and Evaan. For over a decade now, dozens of developers have come and gone, contributing to and expanding the project. When Steam came about, the game looked doomed. But then, in 2005, Kuroneko combined forces with several members of the original team, as well as many new ones, and managed to update it for use with Gabe Newell's new beast, giving the game a full makeover in the process. Since 2005, we've gone from 11 maps, to over 50, from two spells to over twenty, from a dozen weapons to nearly a hundred, and added litteraly thousands of monsters, NPCs, quests, and features.

I like how you guys stole models from Gunman Chronicles and expect nobody to notice.

@ Snarboo

Who cares if they are using models from another game/mod, i mean seriously, if they fit in the mod and make for a great addition to it then why not use them. I see nowhere that they claim them to be their own. Now i dont know what gunman chronicles is, is it a mod or an actual retail game, but if its a mod then i dont see the harm in using them as nothing that is made in a mod actually belongs to the modder imo, because its all modded from a retail game that doesnt belong to them in the first place. It seems that people are getting more and more picky about other modders utilizing some of their mods content in another mod, that really brings down a great community of modders and mods imo, why not just share and share alike, it would make for some better mods.

Few people don't care. Partially due to its possible for a mod/game to be shut down for doing it. ( When borrowing from another game that is )

Besides that its just wrong to do it in the first place. Especially if you don't ask permission and give credit to where its due.

i agree, we modders must unite and stand we can use anything we like just aslong as we dont sell or make money from it and if you use someone elses mod work or prefabs (nicking levels is just stupid) its not hard to thank them in the credits or even by sending them a mail, Peace to the moddb crew.
