Description
An area not often mentioned or shown, this is the enclosed promenade for the second class. Within the deckhouse is the 2nd class library located. This promenade also connects to the first class stateroom corridor. I wonder if any passengers slipped through.
Forgive me if it's something obvious, i know very little about ships, but I'm just curious, what are those large machine like metal-devices? Also this looks great by the way.
Those machines are ventilation units to circulate fresh air throughout the ship. Kinda like early air conditioning, but without the temperature setting. The one below the camera is dedicated specifically to the onboard hospital. The ventilation system of this area was completely separate from the rest of the ship to prevent any possible contamination or spreading of diseases. It was pretty advanced for it's time.

Would not be surpiced when you release this mod that some companie contacts you with the question if they may use your ship model.
Would be nice, this way you can even make money with all the hard work.

Well, a lot already did. Until they figured they had to pay for it. "Send us your work and we can work something out" is usually their motto. Very tempting, but no. :P
Imagine that you would have to pay someone for a product he spent years of his life working on. That would be most unorthodox.
So they are now all just waiting until this project is released so they don't have to ask me anymore.
To still make a little bit of money off this project I'm planning on making and selling a large cut-away poster of the ship showing various interiors within the ship's hull.
Don't let that discourage you tho, enforce a restrictive licence on the model and anyone that tries to use it without your consent will have to pay for it or at least think twice before risking a lawsuit.
