Hello guys,
We're finally back with some good news and a new VIDEO presenting the new interactions with entities and new sounds! We are of course improving some more things but today we made a huge step!
2nd thing is if you preorder/ed the game you will get a beta in 1 month with all the new gaming mechanics! Don't forget, if you have a youtube channel put it in if you want to record a video, because we want to hear your opinion and we want to improve the game!

Um ehrlich zu sein bin ich etwas... Naja... Schockiert. Amnesia... Preorder? Nein, ich bin da sehr skeptisch, es ist frei also eigentlich unnötig. Aber du scheinst schon eine Taktik zu haben. Jetzt bin ich interessiert...
Jetzt ehrlich sogesehen irgendwie eine tolle Idee. Vom Namen her klingt die Story wie scheiße. Typische CS ohne Bemühungen. Sorry aber "find the key" und "jumpscares" da muss ich schon kotzen. Aber man weiß ja nie hoffentlich wirds toll.
Fazit: Ich sehe das sehr skeptisch hoffe aber auf was Tolles.
Die Taktik ist, dass man mit dem Preordern seine Meinung abgeben kann. Da dies mir ziemlich wichtig ist habe ich es einfach mal so eingeführt.
"Find the key" war sozusagen eine Idee, wie die Leute die neuen Dinge testen können. Da dies jedoch ziemlich unerwünscht war kommt die neue Story Beta in nem Monat raus! In Lost but not alone lassen wir unsere Fantasie quasi freien Lauf. Es wird noch so vieles mit der Athmosphäre, den Entities, Sound Effects angestellt, dass du dies wahrscheinlich das erste und das letzte mal gesehen hast. Naja vielleicht 3 mal, bei Lost but not Alone 2&3! Trotzdem danke für deine Meinung. Ein bisschen Skepsis gehört immer dazu aber Vetrau uns. ;)
Jumpscares and searching for keys are listed as features?
The idea of making a Keys Beta has been canceled. The Amnesia Community apperantly doesn't want to pick up keys. We of course totally understand and we are rethinking everything.
The new beta will include actual story, some new systems and some ambiance! You then decide if that game is something for you to look forward to. Find the key was actually a way how people can check out our new systems and sounds and ambiance. I realized real quick that that wasnt a good idea. So we are just gonna show you a bit of the story mode! Get the beta by predownloading!

Keys are pretty much a part of the "custom story package". Jumpscares are pretty well used as well for that matter. To me, they are not features either.
Yeah, but I don't get why they'd advertise having some of the most overused and hated aspects of horror games; 'search everything in every room for arbitrary object needed to advance' and 'we don't know how to legitimately frighten people, so we're just gonna make loud noises and hope they startle you.'
Yeah I don't get that either
