The village is situated far from civilization in eastern Europe. It is a common hearsay among the locals that something mysterious is going on in the mountains. In the last 20 years many people have been camping there, but not all of them have returned... Some of the locals says it is human beasts, others says it's wild bloodthirsty animals... The mountains behold a beautiful landscape with astonishing waterfalls and a rare wilderness. Therefore, many adventures do not care about the hearsay, even though they been warned.

Your girlfriend isn't there and you start to wonder if it was just a weird dream... Now you remember the warning that a village man told you: "Something mysterious is going on in the mountains, don't go there! If you do, it's on your own risk." Obviously it's too late to listen to that now...
This is our first custom story for Amnesia: the Dark Descent and it focuses on atmosphere and story-telling with appropriate puzzles and scares. However there will not be any cheap scares, like naked flying guys. To get a better picture off the mod, check in the trailer below:

Strange, i played this custom story in the past with no problem or bug at all. But now, when i solve the water puzzle, the game crash when the new memento appeard. I have the redist version with the lates patch 1.31.
