Lord of the Rings: Source is a total modification of the Source Engine. The plan is to throw the player into an age of battle over several of the key locations within Tolkien's Books, and the movie.
Currently we plan to include the following maps:
- Helm's Deep (Capture and Control)
- Mines of Moria (Deathmatch/Arena)
- Amon Sul (Deathmatch/Arena)
- The Shire (Rescue the hobbits)
You will be able to play as both the "evil forces" and "free peoples" teams. And you can pick from the following races/classes:
- Hobbit Rogue
- Human Warrior
- Elven Archer
- Dwarven Hammerer
- Uruk-Hai Warrior
- Moria Bowman
- Orcish Berserker
- Orcish Armoured Warrior
We are looking for Programmers and Character Artists to help with production of the mod. Without these key members, progress will not be able to be made.

Well, after about 5-6 hours working with the sourcemods folder, the mod now loads, plays music and has the custom font/background finished. So its ready...
