Talking Unit Variants: Venator Class image - Legends Mod: The Clone Wars for Star Wars: Empire at War: Forces of Corruption
Inspired by the old Imperial Assault II mod that became Republic at War, this mod, unlike every other Clone Wars Mod is not based on TCW, rather the purely Legends "Clone Wars Multi-Media Project" consisting of the Original Clone Wars Series, Books, Comics, and Video Games from 2003-2008 and aims to keep this increasingly threatened but amazing story alive.
There are 2 variants of Venator Class Star Destroyer within the Legends mod, the normal Venator Class, and the Open Circle Fleet variant.
Your standard Venator class comes with 2 special abilities, "Tractor Beam" and "Power to Weapons" which allow you to hold down and enemy vessel and pound it to bits with turbo laser fire.
The Open Circle Fleet variant has a unique ability where it can fire the iconic SPHA beam, seen during the battle of Coruscant in "Revenge of the Sith". In the "Legends" lore, according to "Star Wars: Complete Cross Sections", a lot of the Venator Classes within the 5th Fleet of the Open Circle Armada were fitted with SPHA beam projectors in their ventral hanger bays at the suggestion of Anakin Skywalker who was often attached to the 5th fleet. Unlike the standard Venator, this variant will be build-able in limited numbers because of the OP nature of it's special ability; I just haven't yet decided what that build cap will be.

Going to point out that the "Fifth Fleet" technically isn't the "Open circle Fleet".
Open Circle is by proper strategic definition an Armada, consisting of multiple fleets. "Open Circle Fleet" is a nickname for the unit. The five stripes on the wings are to represent that the ship is within the fifth fleet of the open circle armada/fleet group, which is itself represented by the famous symbol.
