Last Alliance: TW is overhaul mod to Shogun 2. This mod base on stories from Tolkien's books, concretely on wars Dúnedain and Elves against Sauron at the end of the Second Age. This still WIP, but is avaiable alpha with playable Akallabêth campaign ^^

Just a question, I play the mod mostly in skirmishes and have not tried the campaign yet(will do in the near future). If we besiege settlements do they all have generic fortresses or have you also been able to change the fortresses? Love the mod! :)
Siege battles aren't in development now, I can't say what will be possible to do and what not.

"Marannon" in sindarin means "Black Gate" :P

What about Durthang in Mordor?
Durthang was build in later period by Dunedain.
And I know, we don't have information about existing e.g. Carn Dum before TA 1300, but in this case I need anything to fill this lands. When Durthang isn't nessesary.
