Last Alliance: TW is overhaul mod to Shogun 2. This mod base on stories from Tolkien's books, concretely on wars Dúnedain and Elves against Sauron at the end of the Second Age. This still WIP, but is avaiable alpha with playable Akallabêth campaign ^^

A brave team modding the best engine that CA has ever produced! Already making strifes with working shields and other assets previously tought imposible to be modded into Shogun 2! Keep going Last Alliance team!
I'm skeptical of mods that promise things of this scale because 99% of the time the devs post a few images of 3D Models and some concept art and then we never hear from them again. But this team has already released a proof of concept mini-campaign that, shockingly, works really well and is engaging and polished enough to stand on its own. This is the only mod that has ever inspired me enough to donate on patreon and I eagerly anticipate any new developments. Check it out.
First time when it was announced that there will be a LoTR mod for shogun I was really excited about it, I remember checking forums and seeing people that were saying that the mod won't make it , yet here it is and doing better than ever , The team working on the mod should be proud of what they accomplished and of their skills, I'm looking forward to new updates and thank you to the creator of the mod Sara for pushing forward with your ideas and for being determined on making this happen.
I give this a solid 10/10 this mod is such a diverse and epic mod. From battling the Easterlings to obtaining a Teleri army this mod has such potential and thus deserved a good review. Well Done Sara and her team.

As far as Total war Shogun2 goes this mod is the only one of its kind, with huge plans for the future and very solide progress so far.

the effort alone deserves credit, easily makes my top 10 mods ever played and is in constant development meaning its only getting better. definitely still needs a lot, but really only a few things missing to put this up there with Mos and DaC. mainly custom sieges, events, and voice replacement
