Hello and welcome to my first SWBFII map, Jakku: Graveyard of Giants. While this map is mainly inspired by EA's Battlefront, I was only inspired by... Forget it, it is entirely inspired by the Jakku from SWBF EA. While it's not my favorite game, the idea of massive cruiser and vehicles laying scattered across a massive battlefield sounded like a great idea for my first map.
It is easy too. At least, that's what I thought.
Much like in Walker Assault a set of Imperial Walkers approach a downed Rebel Blockade runner. However, this map operates much like your standard conquest map. The Rebels and the Imperials must fight for control over command posts while attempting to deplete the other group's reinforcements.
In the near future I will try adding my own variants of the EA classes as well as work on textures and objects a bit more. This map is out now mainly due to my relief that it actually works and also due to my desire to showcase some retexturing of stock assets, including making "ruined" vehicle props by editing exploded debris from vehicle deaths.

Amazing concept.
The map itself is good for being a first release. However, it has its flaws such as missing sounds and the ships in the sky fly on each other, also, they are flying to low.
Another thing, I don't like the stock sides in any map. Modders like you should start asking for permission and somehow put the GCW-1035 sides mod for maps like this (https://www.moddb.com/mods/gcw-1035https://www.moddb.com/mods/gcw-1035)
I hope you keep working to improve the amazing concept.
Get this is old but I agree. Fact is as of around early 2017 good sides are a must for maps. The default sides have just reached a point where they aren't that fun anymore.
Thank you! As for GCW-1035, it is one of my favorite mods for SWBFII. I'm a bit hesitant on asking to use GCW-1035 mostly due to the fact that I want to try it on my own. But I'll be sure to ask the creator. Now that you said something, the ships are a bit too low, and for missing sounds, I am trying to work that out. Since I have little else to do a new release will likely be put out once I work out the issues. Thank you!
