From the creator of the Absolute Battlefront Galactic Conquest series, comes a brand new Galactic Conquest that puts YOU in control. For the first time ever, you get to decide what planets and maps you choose to play. Pick from 141 planets and almost 300 mod maps, alongside all the stock maps, and get ready for the ultimate Galactic Conquest experience.
After several months of work, I’m excited to announce my latest mod: Heroes Of The Galaxy! This mod will replace the stock Jedi class with a whole array of different jedi and heroes created by the modding community. These heroes come from the original and prequel trilogies, the Clone Wars TV series, The Bad Batch, Star Wars Rebels, Rogue One, and Solo: A Star Wars Story. In total, there are 51 new characters added to the game, and 85 unique skins.
The hero loaded into your game will be randomly selected each time, allowing for more unique gameplay. The heroes will change for any of the following: all the stock maps, the stock Hero Assault on Mos Eisley, and almost all mod maps where the modder has used stock heroes. It will also work for most Hero Assault maps, but again only where the modder has used mostly stock heroes. Any maps where the modder has used their own mod heroes will remain unaffected. It should also work for Galactic Conquest mode, and will work with most of my Galactic Conquest mods.
Not only that, you’ll be able to decide which groups of heroes you play with. For example, if you’ve never watched Star Wars Rebels and aren’t interested in having those characters in the game, you’ll be able to remove the file associated with Rebels. You’ll be able to choose, by the download, whether or not to have the AI play as the heroes, or leave them exclusively for you (though I personally recommend the former, to get the full enjoyment of the other team having their mod hero).
And for experienced modders, my mod will offer expansion capacity for you to add in your own heroes! This may be a little more complicated than normal hero creation, as they will need to be formatted in the correct way for my mod to read them into the game. Full instructions will be included at the time of release. I may also add expansion packs in the future as more hero conversions are made.
I am very nearly completed with the mod, and I expect to have it released within a few weeks, depending on how much free time I get to work on it. The main jobs I have left to do are localizing and writing up the full credits list, which due to how many heroes are included is pretty extensive. Hopefully this teaser has got you excited for the release though, and I hope to share more with you as I get closer to the release.
Version 2.0 of 'Choose Your Own' Galactic Conquest is out now, featuring new updates such as Clone Wars era support, low planet mode, the removal of base...
A brand new version of Choose Your Own Galactic Conquest, with a classic twist. This time, instead of 'lore accurate' planet positions, battle it out...
Version 2.3 contains minor bug fixes. Better compatibility for the new 'Classic Grid' Version.

Can any mod map be used, or just the map packs you have mentioned? If so, how could I add them to the list?
Just the ones listed, as each map has to be coded in to be supported
Ok thx.
This mod is so awesome, but is there any way to reenable the leader bonus for the AI in galactic conquest (I saw in the readme that you had disabled it)? I'm using Anakin's Remaster and he fixed the inability for the AI to actually use the leader bonus in galactic conquest.
Hmm, interesting, I didn't know he'd done that. Trouble is, if a player isn't using Anakin's Remaster, the AI tends to waste money and spaces on purchasing it, and then they run out of credits for buying units. I might look into enabling it only if Remaster is detected
Okay that would be great thank you! I even wouldn't mind re-enabling it myself if it isn't difficult.
Ok, I've released V2.2 which should address this. I haven't had time to test it properly though, as there's no way to force the AI to use the leader bonus, so it could take many rounds before they purchase or use one. Give it a go, and if it still doesn't appear to be working, just let me know and I'll take a more thorough look at it when I find some time :)
Wow you are awesome dude!!!! Thank you so much! I'll try it out and let you know! :D
could i get a little advice on how to actually customize the number of planets and starting locations...?
Just send me a DM, I’ll help you out however I can
