The mod focuses on two major factions:
Additionally, a couple minor factions will be present on a select few maps and modes. These include the following:
Available/supported maps in the first release include:
Not everything in a release will always be what I want it to be or what it should be. There will be bugs, imperfections, and components in need of improvement or tweaking. However, this is a mod developed for free distribution, and the majority of these bugs will be minor, so that's okay.
FAQ:
Should I have the time to return to this in the future, I have many wishes for the development of the mod:
However, none of this is set in stone and is always subject to change.
I hope that this mod inspires others to utilize BAD-AL's Addon system to create more additional content for the PSP version of the game!
Detailed credits for each mod release will be available in a text document adjacent and separate from the readme within the archive containing the mod.
With that said, a huge shoutout goes to Pandemic Studios, Savage Entertainment and GameToast for making all this possible. The community has been nothing short of amazing, and the original devs created such a great game.
A huge shoutout also goes to BAD-AL; his Alt-Addon system makes this entire mod possible. Battlefront Console modders like AnthonyBF2, [GT]Teancum, and iamashaymin also paved the way with their previous work and documentation.

The first version of the Jedi Civil War addon for PSP Battlefront 2 is releasing! Requires BAD-AL's Addon System and a US version of PSP SWBF2 (legally dumped, of course). Hopefully this inspires more people to make content for the Alternate Addon System on PSP.
DISCLAIMER:
This mod was developed for free and is intended for free distribution. Pirated copies of Battlefront II are not supported, and this mod is not to be distributed commercially.
Installation:
0a. Read the FAQ on the Mod Description Page
0b. If not using the XDelta Patch, Make sure your Battlefront II ISO, be it vanilla or AnthonyBF2's PSP mod, is patched with BAD-AL's Alt-Addon System which can be found here: Github.com
0c. If using the XDelta Patch, have a clean Star Wars - Battlefront II (PSP) (USA) v1.01 ULUS-10053 ISO prepared. Then, follow the download and instructions here
1. Download the Mod here. You will get a file called swbf2_PSP_JCW_release1.0.0.7z
2. You will need either 7-zip or another tool capable of extracting 7z files to open the archive.
After opening, you will see one folder labeled '005' as well as the readme.txt. Read the readme.
3. You will also need 7-zip or some other tool to extract your ISO. If you installed the Alt-Addon System, this should already be done.
4. Drag and drop '005' into your alt addon folder (\PSP_GAME\USRDIR\data\_lvl_psp\addon\).
5. Run click_to_merge.bat in your addon folder (\PSP_GAME\USRDIR\data\_lvl_psp\addon\).
6. OPTIONAL: Re-compile your ISO using a tool of your choice and load it into emulator or hardware of choice. If using PPSSPP, this is unnecessary, as PPSSPP can read the game in its extracted state.
7. Start up the game and get to the battlefield!
If you had any issues with this installation, please read thoroughly again or look at the installation video below:

This is Darth Sion utilizing the Galaxy of Heroes model and model/texture parts from the KotOR II model. At only 2035 triangles, he should be pretty lightweight...

Estaría genial poder incluirle un como campaña con cinemáticas extraídas de juegos de kotor y así poder jugar la historia en el sistema Battlefront.
It would be interesting, for sure! Unfortunately we do not have compilers for the PSP movie or audio formats that SWBF2 uses, so this is currently not doable.
Glad to see another fellow modder making content for the PSP!
Great mod, very fun to play. A little 'laggy' sometimes on some maps, but a restart of the firmware usually fixes it. Hope to see more mods for the PSP version in the future :-D 8/10

I'm using ppsspp on android, and I can't run the files like initalsetupbat. What should I do
As the installation guide for the Alt-Addon System (on GitHub) stated, to run the .bat files for the Alt-Addon system you need a Windows PC of some kind.
Will this be available on PC for Steam in the future?
FAQ #1
Unfortunately that would require updating a lot of permissions from resource authors who ok'd use on the PSP but not the PC, and it would also require uprezzing the mod to PC standards. There are no plans right now to bring this to PC.
You said that the PPSSPP can read it from its extracted state. But it doesn't say how to read it from its extracted state.
1. Open PPSSPP
2. Navigate to the Games Tab
3. Hit Browse and Navigate to whatever folder you have the game extracted in
4. PPSSPP should pick it up as Battlefront II and display a gear icon in the bottom left overlayed on it as well. Launch like you would any game and play.
If it doesn't show up, you're not in the right folder or you did not extract a legitimate ISO correctly that PPSSPP can parse
I have done that, it still did not work.
There are other people who have gotten this working, so I'm not sure what I can do to help you here. You should get something like this: Imgur.com
If you're having trouble running in an extracted state, just ISO the game together using UMDGEN. Make sure you're using the latest version, 1.0.2.
Okay, I got it to run now.
