As someone who grew up with a great appreciation for my heritage, i'm disappointed with the lack of attention to detail and large absence of Irish history in CK2. So i decided to make this mod to add Historical characters and heroes of Ireland with the traits they are due. The first release will be the Historical High Kings of Ireland. Starting from 846 with Máel Sechnaill (who is the only High King listed in game) to 1318 with Edward Bruce. Any great or nefarious Irishmen of importance that have been left out of the game, let me know, but like i said, i'll be starting on the High Kings and i'll see how i go from there.

Updated for the anniversary of Clontarf with a news scenario among other things. I've been rather busy lately but i would like to do more with this mod and certainly haven't given it up.
I have Updated the mod to have a MUCH easier install. Thanks to SinStar87 for the help, check his mods out on ModDB and the steam workshop.
Man you are awesome as an Irish-American I was also disappointed in the same thing with CK2 but you've fixed this so thank you soooooo much.
