As someone who grew up with a great appreciation for my heritage, i'm disappointed with the lack of attention to detail and large absence of Irish history in CK2. So i decided to make this mod to add Historical characters and heroes of Ireland with the traits they are due. The first release will be the Historical High Kings of Ireland. Starting from 846 with Máel Sechnaill (who is the only High King listed in game) to 1318 with Edward Bruce. Any great or nefarious Irishmen of importance that have been left out of the game, let me know, but like i said, i'll be starting on the High Kings and i'll see how i go from there.

Added traditional Ri titles for Irish leaders. New Scenario starting date of 989 making Brian Bóru playable. And a few other other things. Couldn't have done this without SinStar87, check his awesome mods out :)

I didn't know about that story before you linked that and so did some further research on it. A nice connection the Irish an Turkish people have to one another. Even today the town of Drogheda where the ships were supposed to have arrived laden with food has a crescent moon and star on its coat of arms, perhaps as a symbol to remember their distant friends by.
