My goal is to create most balanced game experience in Medieval II. If you are not looking for challenge in game (without special bonuses for AI) - this mod is not for you.

- new conquering mechanics(after taking new settlement, you will be forced to build special claims to maintain stability)

- new recruitment mechanics

- TONS of changes that you have to see on your own

Mod is using elements of Battle Axe, Medieval2 Units Addon Mod modifications. Big thanks to creators of this mods.


To get taxes from the city, you have to leave there one of your commander. Castles and Cities gives special ancillaries:

In the city: ability to tax the city

In the castle: some military bonuses.

You are not able to siege the settlement without general

I keep getting an error whenever i try to launch it from the mods folder telling me i'm missing a few DLL files. Could i humbly ask you put installation instructions up for poor dumb people like myself?

Hi, how is the recruitmen system of your mod?

You are able to recruit some castle units in the city with cavalry and shooters, but only the weaker ones. In the vanilla AI army is largely based on militia from the city.
Units are categorized by the classes, higher class means better and bigger units, but in the same time total amount of recruitable units - the replenish rate effectively is not giving us more number of units.
