Israeli Defense Force: Fight for Independence is a Total Conversion modification for the PC game Battlefield 2 (A.K.A. BF2). What we aim to achieve with this mod is to immerse the player into the historic wars involving Israel, Syria, Egypt, and Jordan, which are the 6-Day War, the War of Attrition, and the Yom Kippur War. The player will be able to play as a common soldier, crewmember, or pilot in these wars. The mod will feature historically accurate equipment such as the famous Russian AK-47, the fearsome SO-4050 bomber, the menacing IS3 and M48 tanks, and much, much more. Also, the maps will recreate actual battles that happened in these wars, to complete a historically-accurate and immersive modification. IDF:FFI is also a member of the acclaimed cooperative gaming studio Black Sand Studios.
The Panhard AML-90 (Auto Mitrailleuse Légère, or "Light Gun Car") is a fast, long-ranged, and relatively cheap first-generation armoured car with excellent reconnaissance capability. It was a huge export success, the IDF was the first army to purchase the AML-90.
The AML-90 was once regarded as one of the most heavily armed scout vehicles in service, fitted with a low velocity DEFA D921 90mm smoothbore cannon. Israeli AML-90s fought in the Six Day War and the War of attrition before being withdrawn from service. The were able to knock out more than a dozen Egyptian and Jordanian tanks but also suffered very high losses in the process due to thier light armor.

The Hebrew letter צ correspond to the number 90 in standard European writing.
The turret has א meaning 1. This means this AML-90 is the leading vehicle in this possible combat unit/grouping.

This probably won't be in our next release. We are focusing on the 1973 War. These were phased out by than. After that we will go back to the 1967 War and add the AML-90 plus a ton more content.
