Interesting idea for a modification, but I have a bad feeling that it will not work out ;/.
The colors themselves can be improved if only by a "reshade" like mine: Drive.google.com (corrected)
As for the portraits, the creators themselves decided so, that they should change during battles and it fits well with the game itself. Maybe if you used ai to improve them or created similar like this author: Youtube.com using "Stable diffusion" ;)
And as for modifications I myself made a mini project to add soundtracks from disciples 1 + from dark prophecy, which in rise of the elves were not transferred + "remak'i" author "Denis Kolesnikov" responsible for remake "Battle 2.wav" and "Battle 3.wav" to rise of the elves" Youtube.com , Youtube.com . Hello🙂 does not open for me your improvement 😐 I can't look😅 You see, my goal is not to change the game look But improve the old image 🙂. Portrets are made with the help of AI It is an improved quality of the old one That blur has been removed and the color and texture have been enhanced.🙂 Now the units Of course with GL Wrapper You can make the colors like I modified the units But still the shadows and colors look different in my mod💁♂️. My task is not to create new things, unity portraits or anything like that,only make more beautiful images of the original textures☺️ I hope you understand what I mean🙂😄 For sure, I'm waiting for something, remasterys Disciples 2 would be cool🙂

Hello everyone 🙂✋ As you can see this is Mod for Disciples 2 Rise of the Elves and this May also work on older versions like Dark Prophecy. This is a texture improvement, I understand it's not a quality or resolution improvement And I'm very sorry, although I would like to make everything look much better, but the game engine does not allow it😔. This is why I am doing color and shadow enhancement, Units look brighter, more colors, portraits the same. It may seem to you that it is not worth doing, but I think that in the end, by improving everything, the game will look better than the original ☺️ I'm a big fan of this game and I want to do everything to make it look as good as possible🙂. I hope you like it, although not much has been done here and it's a lot of work with the units alone, but I will finish everything, you just need patience and everything will be done 🙂
