A mod to improve the original Half-Life 2, Half-Life 2 Episode One, and Half-Life 2 Episode Two levels, adding more detail, optimization, enhanced lighting, and bug fixes.

Kind of cool but we had this level of bloom when it was just implemented in games and people were going crazy over it. Actually, it reminds me of the 2003 "launch party" HL2 HDR/DX9 demo.
My advice is drop this bloom pouring through the cracks and openings, it's not natural, it makes it look like a less realistic game than HL2 was on start.
Not only you're currently facing away from the sun (so why would the sky be so bright? the sun in the opposite direction), but the openings are too small to produce this glare.
The rest looks good, especially the bounced back lighting.
