Right. Not a lot to show for this month. Sadly, I've been running into health issues, and lost a lot of time to them.
Most of the time was spent chasing down a very obscure multiplayer bug. It was in literally the single most unsuspecting place possible... From assigning replication to a boolean function for select animations. Whytho. Hunting through >3K lines of code, it was, as I said, literally the last thing in terms of order to check for that file. That was exactly 0 fun sum total.
Anyways, knocked out a secondary bug with select animations not always playing in MP, but this has caused a bug with deselection, and I haven't had time to iron it out. I've got it cornered to a couple of boolean functions used in vanilla, but never fully expanded upon for new firing state code. I'll get to it when I find that time... But wild goosechasing is no fun when you're having a crap run of things, so this has been twice the bottleneck it should be.
That's all for this month, so take it easy folks. Hoping to get back in action after seeing my primary care soon, and get the engines going again. A reminder that Murphey's law is, as the name implies, an absolute law of the universe. A sense of humor is the only way to survive.
