Basically just Half-Life opposing force but with topdown. Inspired and some assets taken from Half-Life TopDown. This version is just a WIP and while it does have the full game, it does still contain lots of bugs and the player model is still Freeman.

Hello. As you may or may not know, i have not kept my promise with uploading a trailer and beginning in a few days. I wanted to first get the whole intro to work somehow. I thought of many ideas and have found one. It took longer than i expected and i am sorry that it did. To apologize, i will upload news more frequently on this mod. I am really sorry, but i just have to make the intro function properly. I expected too much from myself. I will upload more news on the mod from now on.

Development is NOT stopped. It will release whenever it releases. I have made a few more levels compatible. For me, the first few chapters worked. If i have time, i will make a chapter 1 playthrough and a trailer for the mod.
Dont you just love it when people want something but because you havent yet released it and you are clearly still working on it and oherwise it would be garbage and unfinished if people would help you by saying things like "Where is the download link? This project is garbage" in words that i am not even gonna say because of them being so disrespectful to anyone that has to spend pretty much all of their free time working hard.

I do not have any anger issues but i just am really mad about people hating on something just because they cannot download it yet. It is annoying to see people hating on something you have made just because it is not released yet. I do not want to release garbage so i keep working on it to perfect it. People like this clearly just do not know that others work hard and almost dedicate years and years of work just to make one thing that you are just making for the community and not even for yourself. And while this is not the exact situation i am in and it will get released in a while i am just really mad about it. I do not have anger issues, but again it is just straight up annoying to see people hating on something that you have not even finished yet. I am open to any sort of criticism as long as people explain what they dislike about it so i can make a new version which does not have that. I am literally even writing this just to state that you should not hate on others just because they are not done yet. You are giving them a feeling that they should be rushing it and that they are useless in the world. This has happened to many developers even Microsoft (Minecraft) and Toby Fox (Undertale, Deltarune) but they atleast have lots of motivation to keep going because of the positive people who leave nice comments about it and encourage them. If you are mad about something then dont hate on them or anything. Just wait till its released and you get to play an amazing game. Many games are even free and dont even require you to pay a cent. If you dislike something give good criticism like "I do not really like the current build. Maybe you can try to add these things if you have time (small/medium sized list)!".
It is good to tell people you dont like something and not act like you like it while in reality, you dont. Just tell some things you didnt like and whenever the developers have time, they may be able to even do that just for you. It is annoying to see hate if you use a lot of time working on something you dont even know people are going to like. This is completely started because i wanted to as a player play Half-Life TopDown in Opposing Force but it was just impossible for me because nobody had thought of starting a project like that. I also checked for Blue Shift and that also has not been made by anyone. That is why i made this project and also a Blue Shift version. Because i wanted to play it but i couldnt so i made my own version and i think everybody should try that. If nobody is trying to make something or it will take too long for it to release just make your own version and when their own version drops dont think that you could have done better because you are not a whole developer team or have as much practice as they have. It is ok to be bad at something but atleast you try to make it just because you feel like it needs to exist and you dont want it to just be an idea in your mind forever. Do it if you want it.
Thanks for reading this. I really respect it if you did just because of it being so hard for me to work on this (and my Blue Shift version) and for many other developers all of their games and mods. Making mods sometimes is harder than games even though you have something to start with. Even though some games are way harder to make than a mod, some mods took way longer to make.
Please, never forget that if you have something you want to just try to make it yourself. Do not think you have no talent. You will find your talents in it soon enough. If it is art, modelling, design, coding, mapping or whatever.

Hello! I CAN make it however it cannot start from the beginning due to the suit not appearing. I had the same problem in another mod i am making (Blue Shift TopDown).
If you experience any issues if i am done making it, i will immediately put it up. Thanks for your response.

Is HL UL SL fine? I cannot find any other ones.

I will try it whenever i have time. I have already made a functioning beta of Blue Shift but at the moment, almost everything is impossible due to the camera not being able to go up and down (so with some levels of Blue Shift i would have to move some parts forwards like the barrels in the first actual level).
But i think i will be able to quickly do Uplink considering it is not a full fledged game but just a Half-Life demo.
