Hi all, I wanted to upload all the progress I had made on this mod. The media that was previously uploaded does not reflect the most up to date revisions of the mod.

I do NOT plan to continue working on this mod, it was simply to document what was there; maybe somebody will find it interesting. Thanks for all the support anyone ever gave, and I apologize for letting you down. I was 13, lol.
In Kleiners Adventures, you will start in the garage by your car as Dr.Kleiner in the year 2002 while Xen's portal storms come into
just as you arrive to work. You find military, scientists, and security guards all dead and you have to find your way to safety, but some soldiers still stand. You might find a gun on your way exploring the destroyed facility. The military is NOT your enemy! You will fight through aliens alongside with the military through buildings, outdoor environments, and all the way to the other side of
to regroup with a group of guards, and scientists that wernt evacuated with everyone else. That is your way out of
. (You cant just leave from the garage because the door gets busted)

Don't expect this mod to go anywhere any time soon. This mod never had a good start, and I have pretty much lost the interest in mapping which is quite a shame. I could say that this mod had a lot going for it. The mod never had a storyline to begin with. When I started the mod I was young and didn't even have a storyline in mind. All I wanted to do was map a single player mod for Half-Life as Kleiner. I got hammered(1) with negative comments from the start which is never a good start. I got hounded(2) with people telling me I needed a plot and storyline but all I wanted to do was have fun. Apparently I had Unforseen Consequences(3). Too much for me to take I guess. I get bored easily when I start mapping. The syringe that Highlander had coded for me was final and all textures/animations for it will go to waste which is the only motivation to EVER keep making this mod. I don't want any more of Highlander's coding to go to waste. Sorry for this disappointment.
(1) Hammered as in the hammer editor. Sentence: I hammered all night long and made a map
(2) Hounded as in houndeye. Sentence: I got hounded from those damn houndeyes
(3) Unforseen Consequences as in Gordon Freeman: Gordon Freeman has been through Unforseen Consequences
All those being Half-Life references if you didn't realize.

No, they did not. The Resonance Cascade and Portal Storms happened in between 2001 and 2002.

Kleiner actually appears with Eli on hl1, as Eli says on hl2 "the last time i saw you i sent ya up for help" the same thing that the first scientist says after you see the first headcrabs, aside him is Kleiner
there was no ACTUAL kleiner or eli in hl1. "There were no characters in mind when we made HL1...we didn't know we'd be doing a sequel until we were done with the game. So everything was retrofit as neatly as possible but it wasn't planned out ahead of time.

Eli was clearly in Half-Life. Though there is no reference to his name, in HL2 he refers to himself as the scietist who sent you to get help.
As for Kleiner, Marc Laidlaw mentioned that if he had to place him in HL1, he would be the scietist with Eli before and after the Resonance Cascade.
