A mod aiming to re-imagine the original levels of Doom in the style of Half-Life and it's expansions, with the same level of detail as Valve's original game.
The official demo for Crowbar-Deep in the Dead, including .rmf files, and a collection of prefabs. May contain minor bugs. You're free to use any assets from this demo for your own projects, as long as credit is given where due. (NOTE: Development is now on indefinite hiatus, so don't expect a full version any time soon, unfortunately.)
hell ******' yea! i'm downloading now!!
damn, cool!
Cool, but I'll wait for the full version. <3
Then ya have to wait for a while cuz it's on a indefinite hiatus right now. Lorn knows when it will be back on it's track but I can't wait for Decay: Solo Missions!
That's fine by me. I waited for Duke Nukem Forever since 2001 until its release in 2011. ;)
Oof.
Awesome!!
Nice!

Incredible! the map design is so eerily familiar to the doom design its like i know what im doing and where im going but its all new!.
I hope you either finish this one day when you feel like going back to it or that someone else can finish it :)
Damn good, but I think the enemy placement should be a little different. Doom pacing is very different then Half-Life's. Also in the first level it would be cool have something going on outside, it was the first thing I looked at after I left the vent.
There's plenty going on outside if you get out there. Haha.
I assumed that there were no secrets in my first play through, turns out I was wrong :)
When be full game? It so awesome mod.
I tried to play it through Xash3D, but it couldn't find "client.dll" file.
When I tried to copy it from Half-Life files and launched the mod, all sounds in the game disappeared. Why?

Plus, you didn't add more HD Pack models into "crowbardeep_hd" folder (from OF, particularly).
It sounds like your download was corrupted then, because all those files are in fact included.

Cool idea and executed really well. I'm looking forward to the full version!
This is excellent. I'm especially impressed with the voice lines. Looking forward to the full release.
Darn this came out
FINALLY
There's no sound?
EDIT: Sorry, realized the settings were all wrong. If anyone's having sound problems, it might be your settings.
Finally a reason to play Half-Life again. :D
Sad, that the development will take a break, but understandable. Also it's awesome to have a demo instead!
Can't wait to download this mod. :3
whats wrong with it? im using original disk half life which works any mod but when im trying to start that mod i see error:
"could not load library C:\...\client.dll"
ive checked permissions - full and that file exists. ive tried download many times from different servers but no luck
It's meant for the steam release of Half Life. The disk version actually has compatibility issues with some mods.
Seems interesting
Looking forward to the next levels and SP Decay, keep up the great work.
And here is some footage, pretty sure the only thing I missed recording was the G-Man: Youtu.be
nix geht schlechte arbeit: could not load library C:\...\client.dll" danke für mod der nix taugt!
Verwenden Sie die Dampfversion der Halbwertszeit? (Ich verwende Google übersetzen, sorry, wenn es schwer zu verstehen ist)
heya, professional idiot from germany here. just wanted to point out that "Dampfversion" is literally translated to steam (from like hot water) and half-life half of lifetime
I'd believe it. I dont speak a word of german, I just used Google translate to attempt to reply.

This is easily one of the top three Half-Life mods I have ever played. Visually it is oozing with detail and the gunplay is way better than even the original Half-Life. Though I'm glad you're moving onto more enjoyable projects, this was fantastic. Thanks a bunch, man!
I recently found out the correct pronunciation of Blazkowicz is Blazkovich.
