I like DOOM, Half-Life, Fallout, S.T.A.L.K.E.R., Resident Evil, Team Fortress 2, Quake, Hotline Miami, Portal, POSTAL, Left 4 Dead, Killing Floor, Garry's Mod, Deus Ex, Borderlands, Blood, and BioShock. these are some examples of various video games I've played and love. I also like playing mods for (the moddable entries in) these games.

The horror

Krychur Blog

the aliens are coming... more updates on They Came in Numbers soon. lemme go ahead and describe these extraterrestrial beings for you. you see, most people think of "Alien Greys" whenever someone says alien. I don't think these little 3'5 men from Mars running around with blasters and kidnapping cows are a scary thought. the scary thought is not actually knowing what they look like. the extraterrestrial beings you'll know by the end of this story will look eerily human-like. they have armor, stand 6'2 on average, and carry large assault rifles. they have their own space craft, security systems, etc. you won't look at the word "alien" like you normally do for this one. they don't kidnap humans for dissection, they kill them for disobedience. you can't fight them on your own. you either die of the feral virus, or you die a slow death under the rule of these extraterrestrials. take your pick.

today is the 19th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks. a lot can happen over 19 years, but this day will be forever burned into our minds as one of the most horrific, and costly attacks in American history. everybody stay safe, and be cautious around other people.

God bless those we lost during the attacks, and God bless the families who lost their loved ones. we will never forget you.

he is a mod thief and a creep. he steals the sourcecodes of various Half-Life mods, ports them over to Half-Life: Source, and uploads it to Moddb. if only that were all though. he adds meaningless content into these "mods" (SMOD and Cinematic Mod content in Half-Life: Source, Portal and HL2 Beta content into his mod Half-Life Source: Portal Edition which uploaded stolen content from Portal cuz he didn't feel like mounting the games manually, Brutal Half-Life: Source, Half-Life Echoes: Source, etc), he adds code that generates a long, unavoidable childhood biography into the console to his "source code", apparently stalks girls on Facebook or whatever platform he meets them on (putting dialog into the "mod" somewhere about how much he "loves" them along with personal information and account links he has no business and no right to share with the players of his mods. worries me because of who he could show that to.), purposefully misspelled a modder's name on one occasion (Half-Life Echoes' developer's name is James Coburn, and VOSEN purposefully misspelled it Cockburn, although one of the mods respelled it properly), and is either ignoring everybody telling him to stop, or is just plain stupid and thinks everyone leaving a negative comment is actually giving him a positive comment (*Insert User Name Here*: Stop it with this ********! these "mods" of yours are trash! NOAHakaVOSEN: I know, I wanna finish this mod, but no one wants to help me with the development! or *Insert User Name Here: You stole the source code from *Insert Popular Mod and/or it's developer here*! NOAHakaVOSEN: Hello X (let X be a user name), could you please help me with Y? (let Y be a topic such as compiling a model, making a change to a certain bit of the game, etc.), and never even finishes a mod before he moves on to the next. a few other users could tell you more about this dude better than I could, but that's what I was able to gather on him. about a half an hour ago, he just started up a new project called "Counter-Life: Source", where he is porting Counter-Life (Half-Life mod) over to Half-Life: Source. I doubt he asked the developers first though.

I'm not defending him, but some people might think I'm doing it because "hes just as russian as u are, so y not?" I don't want people to think badly of us, he's just a disgrace to our community.

Wow, that's pretty disgusting. I remember myself back in the days when I tried to "remake" SMOD with new plot and ****, but I quickly gave up on it, because I didn't have even an acceptable mic to record my own voice lines and I didn't know anything about modding except making some sounds (from this point I actually started my "way of the modder"). Anyway, even if I did the remake, I would prefer not to release it on ModDB, because I don't want to get a bad reputation and accusations in code/models/textures theft, although I was a dumb 13-14 yo schoolboy. I was dumb, but not THAT dumb. My advice to him: it would be nice starting to respect other modders for their giant work, since he doesn't put any effort in his mods but acts like he did all of those iconic mods with deep plot and better graphics than Cinematic Mod has. I agree with you about adding stuff from CM to HLS, this is just ridiculous and stupid. Thanks for answering.
P.s. he's almost on every SMOD page Moddb.com.

thanks. I just feel like people who didn't refund should get all the bug fixes and addons they can. what happened during it's development was a tragedy. I can make more in the way of sound replacements, but the only problem is that there are many MANY bugs that cannot be fixed without use of the source code (for instance, the missing weapon pickup noises). still, I'm glad you enjoy them.
