GMDX V10 is a community made update for the GMDX mod. It features over 1400 new changes, in areas ranging from artistic direction to deepened function, and even bug fixing and attempts to reinforce adherence to canon. It's been built to have zero obligation (should a user not prefer it) by using a separate installation and save directory. Many save files are supported retroactively, although some hiccups do occur, as this was not a strictly intended feature. In our opinion, the game looks better, runs better, is balanced better. If you're looking for a way to facelift Vanilla or simply touch up GMDX, we think you'll enjoy what we bring to the table with v10. By the community, for the community.

Description

MessageLog: Another PNG Image. This one contains a screenshot of 02_NYC_Underground.DX. Image contains a display of level flow. You are expected to deduce its effects on gameplay. Old level design allowed for players to bypass interacting with the upper level by the use of a simple bridge. Bridge had no cost to access. Other methods of crossing required swimming or the use of a computer terminal. This has restored intended difficulty by IonStorm.Austin and its designers.

Old version was seen to match files previously submitted to Revision. Revision map philosophy does not belong in GMDX. Revision map philosophy changes map flow and is not vanilla. GMDX is intended to retain vanilla map function where Revision has not tried to. We believe this to be an improvement to this level's design.
