Global Uprising mod for C&C: Generals Zero Hour

Description and short history:

Global Uprising (for short GU) is total conversion of the Command & Conquer Generals Zero Hour, which removes old factions with five new factions. The mod was before named M.A.F., but a original team splited to two. One being inactive, and the others which wanted the mod to survive and splited from M.A.F. Industry. Previous mod leader was Warlock_23, but due to his low activity he hand over the title to V.Metalic, which dont wanted it from the start, but now is willing to put the mod to the bright end.

Factions:

Global Uprising plans to bring five new factions into the game. The factions together occupy nearly entrie Earth, making the mod a new world war. These factions are:

U.D.S. stands for Universal Defence and Security. This young "superpower" was able to claim Australia, New Zealand and Oceania. Entire world question how U.D.S. was able to claim so much territory with military might rivaling to the rest of the world. By some rumors, U.D.S. is result of secret space program, as during the encounters with them sometimes the attack come from the orbit. U.D.S. prefer in battle magnetic weapons combined with infantry forces,giving to them a futuristic design.

Red Asian Nations (RAN) is alliance of the Russian Federation, People Republic of China, North Korea, India and other local countries of the Eastern Asia. Like in the past, RAN got a endless masses of easy-build tanks and infantry, along with highly specialized forces. RAN dont regard on the prohibition of the nuclear and chemical weapons, making them a deadliest enemies, using dirty tactics, followed by hordes of infantry and vehicles.

Pacific Alliance (PA) was founded by United States and Japan to stabilize the American economy and military might, but soon more nations with Pacific nearby joined to their cause. Their forces are highly specialized, excellent in certain roles, but weak in other. But with Japan robotic technologies and nanotechnology, they are able to use the highest and most advanced technologies the world ever seen. The politics of the PA is agressive, without mercy defeating anyone who wll stand in their way to achieve their goals.

EurAfrican Pact (EAP) is organisation of the united Europe and Africa, creating xenophobic government, which makes a new iron curtain. Soldiers are highly disciplined and no one can shake with their will. Their tactics are mostly to steamroll their enemies, but when the need arise, they could change to trench warfare with their heavy siege weapons. Catholicism there is more fury and often declares a new crusades towards the infidels.

South American Union (SAU) is coalition of South American states in case of defending their huge resources. Despite SAU is hthe only faction which dont seek a war for new resources, the collected armies of all member states isnt enought, and so they use several mercenery armies. The tactics are mostly hit-and-run, and their forces are mostly being able to be upgraded for certain purposes. With Amazon jungles, SAU is able to use various medicines and stimulants to increase the effectiveness of their forces.

Each faction will cosists of three divisions specializing in different type of warfare, representing part of the faction's main strategy. No vanilla factions, only sub-factions. GU wants to bring to the mod new systems, enhacing a playability and fun to the original game.

The first release will consists of first 3 factions (UDS, RAN and PA) with all their divisions. System will work like in Skirmish Menu you will choose your faction and on the start of the game you will choose your division. EAP and SAU will be released in second release.
