Cold Ice Remastered and FlatLine Arena future! news - FlatLine-Arena mod for Half-Life

Hello boys and girls, players of all ages.

My name is Zack 'Napoleon' Dinev and I have a big announcement to make.

As of 31st of March 2023, FlatLine Syndicate (r) has obtained the rights to develop, distribute and sell the Half-Life modification Cold Ice Remastered. The long time developer of the mod Surreal settled for undisclosed amount of money $$$ (and some persuading) to part with the mod. Still as sign of gratitude we will keep the title of the mod and will still keep him in the credits (for now).

What should you expect from this acquisition?

1. The modification will be digitally distributed on Steam and other digital download platforms.

2. All previously released versions will expire as of 1st of April 2023, and will be unplayable. Upon attempting to start outdated version of the mod, you will be redirected to the homepage of the mod, where you can purchase the newest version, while a background operation whiles the partition where the old version of the application resides.

3. The initial purchase of the mod will be 49.99$ with initial flash sale to 29.99$. This purchase includes the base game - all maps and sounds, however you will be limited of using the crowbar only. For the price of 9.99$ you can add the Rocket Crowbar as well.

4. All other weapons will be available as a subscription (per week package) at 4.99$ each. Furthermore the weapons will have durability - the more you play with them, the more deteriorated they will be, up to the point of breaking, where the weapon can be repaired at a coast of 3.99$. This is limited to up to 3 hours after the weapon is broken. After that time, you will have to purchase the weapon addon at full price.

5. The player models will be split in dlc packs 4.99$ to lease them for 30 games. They will also have additional perks: higher movement speed, damage and for some of them removed hitboxes (for the godlike feeling).

6. Each game mode and mutator will be purchasable separately at a cost of 7.99$, for a period of 2 weeks or 50 games (whatever event occurs first).

7. We have implemented deluxe subscription and packages to charge you on a play hours base and we're currently looking for a legal loopholes to cover our legal department. If you're a lawyer or a con artist looking for a job - we're hiring! (The payment will be in lootboxes and unlocks in the mod).

8. Additionally, we have decided to funnel all the funds from your purchases (including your credit card information) to our servers and partners in P.R.C. (Peoples Republic of China).

9. Additionally I wanted to show you this: we got the official backup of all works ever done by Surreal on these SD cards. They will be put for sale at auction on 1st of April 2023 at the symbolic starting price of 700k $ with a minimum bid amount of 250k $. Just a hint they also contain some private pictures, he's not aware of...
