Flakes Doom is a GAA1992's mod for Doom that focuses on combining elements from several games of the id Software's franchise, but without changing its original gameplay radically. It works basically as very cool a weapons pack with stuff from many Doom editions.
Gambiarra is a Flakes Doom add-on that adds elements from even more Doom versions to this already excellent mod, such as a jukebox with the SNES Doom soundtrack, weapons based on the alphas' and beta's arsenals and fixes Wolfenstein SS rotations.
Gambiarra, or Gambiarra Flakes, is a Flakes Doom add-on developed by Facínora and GAA1992 that add elements from even more Doom versions to the already excellent GAA1992's mod.
Besides weapons based on the alpha and beta Dooms, Gambiarra promotes a MP40, fixes the Wolfenstein SS and implements a jukebox with the BGM from the SNES Doom version and two songs from this console’s Wolfenstein 3D port. The new weapons feature different visuals, names and behaviors than the originals, since they were added not only in a coherent fashion, but also to be relevant in-game.
Gambiarra needs Flakes Doom 2.5 (or any eventual superior version) and it ran fine here on GZDoom (2.4 and 3.2) and Zandronum 3.0, with the IWADs from Doom II: Hell on Earth, The Ultimate Doom, Heretic, Chex Quest, Final Doom, Hexen, Chex Quest 3, and from both Freedoom's phases. It seems to work just fine with all that.
It should be also compatible with any other IWAD or mod that Flakes Doom is originally compatible with, such as Strife, Return of the Triad, Hacx 2.0 and Adventures of Square, but I didn't test it myself, even though I can't think of any reason that it would make it not work.
