A total conversion mod for the Wing Commander universe taking place in the timeframe of Wing Commander III and IV. The mod is, as the original games, heavily centered around fighter and bomber warfare, while keeping a healthy importance to capital ships. With the current version, you can play as the Terran Confederation, the Union of Border Worlds, the Black Lance and the Kilrathi Empire from Wing Commander III. Mod initially created by Aaron 'czacen' Thomas who disappeared half a dozen years ago after publishing this mod and allowing me to tinker with it and improve its gameplay and balance features. This is the version for Remastered, featuring completely reworked models and new elements everywhere. Fully-working AI for all new factions and multiplayer-compatible. The hyperspace jump animation was taken with permission from the BluePlanet FreeSpace mod for Homeworld 2

IMPORTANT This is the latest version of the mod, which will only work with a Homeworld Remastered patched after August 14th, 2015. It will NOT work with previous versions of the game, due to massive changes in the file architecture. This version is a hotfix to provide you a playable mod if you just updated the game and wonder what is going on. The AI should be working now. Otherwise, same stuff as v 3.05 plus three HD fighters for the Border Worlds and all missiles/torpedoes in HD too.

How to install?
You download the file and extract the .big, then you move the .big file to your \HomeworldRM\Data\ folder.
Then, you make a copy of the shortcut to HomeworldRM, and in that copy, you right-clic, go to Properties and in the target field, you add the following (including the dash):
-mod WC4FC_Remastered.big
This shortcut will then launch the mod.
What version of the game do you need to play this? I have 1.29.
Now I have 1.30 is there a newer version?
If you have the current version of the game, then this version of the mod is what you are looking for. Right now, the main work is to prepare the ship files for an upcoming update that will make the previous files unworkable.
Hello, just downloaded that mod. And I try following the description how to install but my HWRM shortcut has no "target field" in it's properties since it's an internet shortcut. Or do I get something wrong here? :D
