A mod for Star Wars Empire at War/Forces of Corruption that follows the story arch of the new movies. This mod is a sister mod to Yuuzhan Vong at War and both mods will be built off the same framework, so a lot of work done for YVaW is work done for this mod. As long as Disney has not finished the new trilogy, this mod is on hold and dormant ... to be awakened.

Crazy how such a small fighter could disable turbolasers on that SD but eh the movie had a lot of those moments.
Wonder why all bombers suddenly dissapeared out of star wars.. If they threw a b-wing or 2 at starkiller base..

Probably because they were inside the shielded area, sort of how the imperial walkers on hoth could disable the shield generator because they were on the shielded surface but yet the destroyers in orbit couldn't fire on them due to the planetary shield.
That would be my only guess, also the X-Wing is a fighter bomber much like the ARC Fighter of the clone wars so it has dual functions. Even if they had used bombers, they use the same ordnance usually that the X-Wins use, just more of it, which is Proton Torpedo's
And as we saw in the movie it looks this second rebellion doesn't have access to all of the vast amounts of ships it had during the original rebellion, probably since they are officially disowned by the republic they created but unofficially supported by them.
the first movie was X and Y wings, the third introduced B and A wings.
It would have been pretty rad if B and X wings were featured on 7.
Would be nice if they take the Nebula design as a standard star destroyer for the New Republic. Some bombers would be nice too.

Why an upgraded TIE fighter as the First Order's primary fighter? I never understood that from Ep 7. Its 30+ years after Endor at which there were TIE Interceptors(far superior design to reg TIEs). One would think in 30 years a better design could be made. Hell even in Rogue One there are supposed to be some new awesome TIE looking fighters and that is frelling before Endor! Yes I know these TIEs have shields and the Special Forces TIEs have hyperdrives, but come on Disney! Disney should look to modders for TIE ideas!
