This mod is a sister mod to Yuuzhan Vong at War and both mods will be built off the same framework, so a lot of work done for YVaW is work done for this mod. As long as Disney has not finished the new trilogy, this mod is on hold and dormant ... to be awakened.

Description
The "First Order TIE", or TIE/fo was an upgrade over the standard Imperial TIE from the civil war era which included thicker wing pylons to house more powerful generators allowing the craft to have a light shields for protection.
Getting started with our first model, this is the standard First Order TIE Fighter, not the elite 2 seater version with the turret.
So basically, the First Order had an epiphany one day and did something that should have been done in the first place during the Empire?
Empire, at its height, could afford to waste lives due to the clone army. Although the full details of the lore have not been told yet, I am guessing after the defeat at jakku, the empire needed to change its tactics.
Well if the /SF version is an indicator, I'm liking the shift. Although I'm wondering if they still use the TIE bomber?
