Nice idea, although I'm not sure about infantry in SupCom, they imho too irrelevant considering scale of Supreme Commander, and by lore of the game infantry was considered archaism too because of this: I.imgur.com

Also about models, they tiny units, but they need some work too, they looks boxy and its gives them more robotic than organic look, you can check abandoned mod named Battle Sector: Earth, infantry models in that mod while simple looked less robotic.

I have check out the Battlesector Earth Mod several times.
However I have use the Screenshots of his Infantry Models as an reference to create my own Models. And the Size itself is not final. They will be even smaller Ingame so I think the Model will be not have so much differences to the one from Battlesector Earth. Personally I think more they could are wearing a box like Armor with this Model.
Remember Supcom is located in an advanced Future Universe so Infantry could wearing an Exoskeleton or an Armor.

Maybe it's just me but I like the idea of infantry. It's not something we often see in other mods but I think it's great to try new ideas to spice things up with this old game. Also, I agree with Chyvachok that the model needs some work. Continue the good work!

I will try to improve the Model, however the creation of Organic Models is not my strength. :(
There was a reason, why I have created the Models a bit Boxy because they have an very small size and don't need a high Detailed Model. And for me they could wear a armor or something.

I agree, more details will just cause problems on the performance.Small units should have less detailed model.

To the both Guests, which have been post here an comment.
I agree your opinions and remember the Infantry Units will be added into an Submod.
That means if you don't want to have them in you game, you can deactivate this Submod next to of the others with Units, which you like more. :)

Description

This Feature is currently in WIP Stage and will be available in a new additional F.B.P. Submod.

As an short Overview about the Content for this Submod:
- 6 Infantryclasses for all four Factions
- 1 new Building for all for Factions
- 2 - 3 Small Defense Turrets

All other Information About them will be presented in the new article.
