I like to announce EVE: RTS (work name) It's a mod about EVE Online developed by myself, featuring ships and other objects directly from the original Game. Models and Textures were extracted using TriExporter. CCP confirmed that I can use their Artwork. (see end of summary)

remind me again, does homeworld 2 work on windows 8? (I highly doubt it) wasn't there something about a German version that did or something?
There is the remastered one (on steam) that includes classic games so you can run mods on it.
You have to turn off DEP. That should fix it. If it doesnt then do a Google search for the SoulDrinker no-cd.
I have Windows 8.1 and HW2 is working without any problems at all in Compability mode.
I don't even think I'm using compatibility mode
