The Clone Wars Holdout Factions is a submod for Empire at War Remake and explores Clone War era remnant factions intervening in the Galactic Civil War. Players can guide the Confederate Holdouts in forgotten corners of the Galaxy or bring the Republic Hardliners back into prominence, defeating old and new enemies alike. New Additions:

-Added the Commerce Guild’s Overseer-class Light Cruiser to the CIS. This potent missile frigate provides some much-needed shield penetration for the Separatists and can be fielded in Tech 2.

-Added Kazdan Paratus to the Republic Hardliners (Featuring 40 lines of VO!). This deranged Jedi master is as mercurial as he is potent. He’ll need some additional management to be effective.

Fleet Affects:

Insanity: Master Paratus imposes a -30% movement penalty and -15% damage penalty on all ships due to his unhinged, ranting orders.

Droid Affinity: Kazdan was an antisocial savant with droids in his youth at the temple. Now, they are his only companions. Any droid units on the field with him gain +10% movement and +25% damage. Droid units are immune to his insanity debuff.

Master Mechanic: All ships, covette and above, gain a +20% hull bonus alongside a 10% increase to shields.\

-Added the Hardcell Gunboat to the CIS. This sturdy corvette is perfect for harassing larger ships and filling out fleets in the early game. Cheap and effective!

Major Changes:

-Revamped the Skirmish AI. It’s now capable of upgrading its econ and weapons systems!

Minor Additions:

-Added new Hardpoint type and SFX for "Junk Cannons"

-Added new icon for Sagoro Autem (pour one out for our boy Girabaldi!Autem...)

-Added new icons to Base One, Imperial Palace, Republic Senate, Mustafar/Reactivation Signal Ground Zero, Kamino/Republic Emergency Authority

-Added ‘Unit Complete’ VO to Tactical Droids

Minor Changes:

-The XB-17 now drops an additional Adv Proton Torpedo

-Buffed short range laser speed on the Victory-II, Fixed hardpoint issue affecting front missile

-Swapped icon for the AI’s “Efficient Procurement Center” building

Fixes:

-Fixed SFX for Heavy Lasers on Condor Strategic Bomber to use intended sounds

-Added some missing Republic ground units to the Barracks Price Reduction (AT-AP and Clone Commandos)

-Fixed Web Way's Rebel Ground Garrison on Mon Calamari, they should now expand properly from it
