Note these are just some of the ships, each ship has a shield mesh, all of these ships have the power to shields ability. Read the description on the latest video to find out more about the new shields.

Ah, forgot that. Yes new ship, Valiant star destroyer, consortium replacement for the Vengeance as the vengeance is now an artillery piece.
So the pirates have the venator and the valiant as well as the lukrehulk correct?
nope, venator for pirates, valiant and lucrehulk for consortium. That was all in the image descriptions for those ships.

I'm completely confused. Does the shield colour depend on the unit or on the impacting projectile after all?
Same as any other mod. Shield colour is unit dependand. Impact particle is particle dependand. Which would be blue for everything. Except the bellator shield mesh which I gave a green colour, though the impact particles will still be blue, obviously.

Shouldnt the Empire still have access to venators and Valiants? I could see Pirates and Consortium getting broken down and junk ones then refurbishing them with their own tech but one thing that always bothered me is that somehow in the time of about 2 decades a Galactic Empire that built in the thousands a ship that is still capable it no longer has access to it? Its like saying the US can no longer use the A-10... Although now that I think about it they want to get rid of the A-10 even though its still more then capable and has one of the best records of any ground attack aircraft... and want to replace it with an over priced shitbox that isnt even working yet... lol
Some older ships are still in use, but mostly more advanced and powerful ships have taken their place, leaving a lot of older ships which were sold to various factions. These ships ended up in the hands of pirates and the likes.
