Last week push for internal alpha: Golan 3 image - Empire At War Remake: Galactic Civil War mod for Star Wars: Empire at War: Forces of Corruption
This mod catapults Empire at War into 2077. It maintains the game's design philosophy, while adding new units, better graphics, and deeper gameplay.
The Golan 3 was still missing from the starbase roster.
It is a very heavily armed and armored starbase, designed to hold its own against capital ships.
The initial model was made by the AOTR team, modified with more detail, such as trench stuff, new hangars, XX-9 tower turrets and more. While I initially was working on my own version of the Golan 3, I ditched this effort and ported its completed parts such as the trench detail over to this one, as I thought this could be completed faster.
We're now working on the first functional internal alpha in more than year with all the new features and buildings/ground/all the overhauls finally coming together. Exciting times, we hope to give out the alpha to our testers in the very near future.
