Thanks to Farseer for pointing out Reshade to me, its post processing can create nice effects like the ambient light visible here. Be sure to also watch the video once it's up :)

Also, thanks to Farseer I have found out the wonders of Reshade, a post-processing program that makes stuff look mmm, so good...
