This mod catapults Empire at War into 2077. It maintains the game's design philosophy, while adding new units, better graphics, and deeper gameplay.
Ladies and gentlemen, the Praetor Battlecruiser is finally ingame and fully functional! After about 2 months of off and on building it is finally here. Now, I've spent a lot of extra time adding AOs to the texture but I'm still not happy with how it looks currently, there may be more work done on this ship at a later time.
Now for its role ingame. The Praetor is a Republic Battlecruiser, a very expensive and very tanky ship armed with 38 single heavy ion cannons, 66 dual turbolasers, 16 quad turbolasers, 3 heavy torpedo launchers, 3 laser cannons, 3 hangars, and 4 engines. No targetable shields. It's more tanky than the Annihilator but it doesn't deal as much damage. It's buildalbe on the Republic worlds.
Any special planet that lets you build unique ships have recently gotten a icon above them on the GC map to make it easier to spot which planets have a unique function.

I always like how the design retained the Star destroyer shape but added it's own unique flavour. And i do have to say it looks magnificent with all the turrets.

This is probably my favourite battle-cruiser design and it looks amazing in this screenshot. Been trying to build one of these as the Empire but I can't see it anywhere on any of the Republic ship building worlds, e.g. Rothana or Ringo Vinda. Is there something I'm missing on how to get this ship or is it not in the latest patch quite yet?
