Brilliant Job as per usual, but I am confused. Whats the role of all these added imperial ships have and will the rebels and Consortium have enough firepower to defeat this monster

The rebel nebulae sd got long range super ion cannons which can disable capital ships.
Also the allegiance lacks a hanger bay. Y and b wings should be able to do a lot of damage.

Ok so the units added all heave some purpose.

Vigil is a early-midgame corvette hunter and slightly useful vs frigates but not very. This gives the empire some control over the early game corvette fights which it otherwise loses hard. Expensive to compensate for countering the other corvettes.

The Customs Frigate is a glass cannon, very weak but very powerful. Very different from other imperial ships which usually spawn fighters or are much sturdier. Just a fun add-on ship which you can play around with. Indeed not much of a purpose actually, perhaps I should remove it.

The Escort carrier is a lategame corvette hunter, the fighters it spawns, tie hunters, have heavy ion cannons (capital grade), torpedoes and ofc fighter lasers, which makes them useful as utility units. On its own one of these carriers can't take out a large frigate but is a great support unit to help take one out.

The Procursator is an alternative to the Victory. No fighters/bombers and no anti fighter defences, this ship is a high health high damage vessel with no shield penetrating weapons or ion cannons, where as the victory has its massive missile batteries, ion cannons and fighters and bombers. Both are completely different ships and can be used in completely different ways, but on the same overall power level.

The Predator is a very expensive missile barge with some ion cannons and turbolasers to protect itself. Great support unit, not quite costeffective on its own. Does wreck fighter/bomber squadrons. It's a counter to to rebellions heaviliy shielded units. And gets hardcountered by this: Moddb.com as it's got a jamming system. That's the Rebels lategame frigate destroyer.

Conqueror is an alternative superweapon for the Empire. It's hyper expensive. Appart from it's superlaser its an ISD without fighters and bombers and with no anti fighter/bomber defences. Appart from that laser which does splash damage. It certainly has its limitations and weaknesses as its superlaser doesn't destroy larger sized ships in 1 blast.

The Bellator replaces the Executor so I don't really feel the need to justify adding that. Empire likes Super star destroyers.

The Gladiator replaces the Acclamator, same story as for the Bellator.

And the Allegiance is the Empires tier 5 warship, such as the Consortium has the Lucrehulk and the Rebellion has the Nebula. Nebula is a "utility" vessel with its super heavy ion cannon that *needs* to be supported by a fleet to be very useful. That + mc30s could wreck capitals, that's the rebels idea, small but useful ships. Not particularly powerful when used with other rebel capital ships as they rely on high shields high health with mediocre damage to get the job done. It's better used with smaller, high damage craft such as the MC 30 or the Corellian Destroyer ( Moddb.com ). This makes for 2 different lategame strategies, heavy, slow and tanky capitals or small, agile, high damage craft. The Consortium have their massive carrier, its power lies in the fighters and bombers, the Lucrehulk wont destroy much on its own but can take a ton of punishment. This one can operate independantly because of the versatility that the squadrons give it. And the Empire has their good old showoff battleship, the Allegiance. Has a crap ton of firepower but no fighters and bombers. This makes it very vulnerable to bombers but as we saw on the Executor the empire didn't really seem to give a **** about that on their warships. Really wants to be supported by anti bomber craft.

Nebula + high damage units beats allegiance with ion blasers, allegiance + anti fighter defence beats lucrehulk, lucrehulk overpowers nebula and allegiance alone because its power is in its squadrons and those can't be disabled/destroyed without supporting corvettes.

Counter Lucrehulk with corvettes, counter allegiance with **** that turbolasers aren't effective against and counter the nebula with a lot of ships so it can't disable them all at once.

Really I thought about this quite thoroughly, no OP units in my mod thank you very much.

This is an awesome model, Jeroenimo! But I am a little sad to hear that it's replacing the Secutor; that was an interesting ship!

Awesome ship. I like that this looks like an exact replica of Fractal's awesome model. Definitely the best rendition of it in any mod so far.
