The water looks nice, but the shape is weird... :)

I am well aware that this shape won't fit everybody's taste. Some may like it, though.
The main thing here, however, is that this is created purely by procedural graphics programming, i.e. no texture involved here at all!

Wow, that is pretty cool. Is this shape (which I particularly enjoy, by the way), something that could easily be edited in some kind of config file? Just curious.

Awesome work, Meltac!

Thanks, I'm glad there is somebody who likes it :)

The shape is at about 80% procedural, meaning there is a (rather simple) algorithm creating it. That's why you couldn't just exchange it as you can do with texture files. However there will be a couple of parameters allowing you to adjust the outline to a certain extend.

This means, yes the shape can be edited in a config file, but it requires some trial-and-error progress to get a satisfying result and you won't be able to completely redefine it.

Good shape, but the glass could do with looking more like glass imo, like it does on the ecologist visor shot.

The glass look primarily comes from the reflections and refractions which I had disabled when doing this shot.

Id' limit only corners of the screen while keeping the same outline - basiclay just zooming in to enlarge the visor spase, if you understand what my broken english sais =D

I guess I do ;) Thanks for the suggestion.

Seeing your reflection shaders for rain, Is it possible to make water have realtime reflections? I mean in build 1935 they have it faked =) water in swamps is transluscent, terrain is mirrored below actual map and they have pretty neat illusion of reflectivity, but the real time one, xray water only seems to be reflecting skybox.

I think I could "re-use" my reflective wet surfaces shader for water reflections like some other mods do it. However I'm not yet sure whether I will because I don't like to spend my time on features that have already been implemented by others.

Yet another shape - just to demonstrate the possibilities. Here I've disabled the reflections to concentrate on the visor border outline.
