Redux is a large-scale modification that attempts to modernize Doom 3 with a massive overhaul of the graphical, sound and UI aspects of the game along with bug fixes, restored content and new features.
I will have to prepare a few things for the *actual* release of Redux 2.0, so this is now scheduled for early 2020. In the meantime however, I'm putting a Release Candidate right under your christmas tree ! It's currently uploading and will replace the Beta version.
This is basically complete. Every feature that was planned for the 2.0 release is now ready and what little was missing from the beta is now there. The main additions are:
- High resolution loading screens for all aspect ratios
- dhewm3 compatibility patch (with ultrawide support)
- High resolution crosshairs for all aspect ratios
- All audiologs are now revamped (optional)
