Call of The Zone is a standalone modification for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. – Call of Pripyat that allows you to explore the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone – a desolate and highly contaminated region of Ukraine that has been abandoned and closed off for decades ever since the 1986 Chernobyl disaster. What has been going on in this irradiated wasteland since then? There are no shortage of rumors and conspiracy theories, each more fantastic than the last. Rumors of mutated wildlife, brainwashed cults, secret experiments, and unexplainable paranormal events abound, as do promises of great riches and wildest dreams coming true for those who are daring or desperate enough to try to break through the cordon. You are about to find out for yourself what is true and what is yet undiscovered, and experience for yourself all the Zone has to offer... or to take from you.

Reduce amount of ammo in starting loadout | Locked | |

Heya guys. When the player starts a new game, the game checks player_loadouts.ltx for the weapons and such. This is fine. But the amount of ammo that comes with the weapons, I'm not sure where that is. From the looks of it, at least with AO3, pistols always come with 100 rounds, which I think is way too many, especially for .45 ACP and such. I'd like to cut this down by at least half. Rifles seem to come with two reloads, I think that's much more reasonable. Anyone know where the amount of ammo for starting loadouts is defined? |

The starting weapon and ammo are given to the player in ui_mm_faction_select.script in the faction_ui:OnFactionSelect function. If memory serves, it gives a "box" of the appropriate ammo for the weapon, which is defined in weapons.ltx, but you could probably toy around with the script itself to specify a particular amount of rounds. |

Thanks Doc, I was looking in all the wrong places. Keep forgetting that not everything is configured in .ltx files. ALMOST everything is. -- It's not stupid. It's advanced. |
